Frequently Asked Questions

How does Echo sync my demos?

Echo uses iCloud to keep your demo tracks up to date across all your Apple devices automatically. Either drag and drop your audio files into the Echo app, or save them to your iCloud Drive folder. Echo will automatically detect and sync them across your devices.

Why not just use the Apple Music app or Files?

We created Echo because the traditional workflow of dragging audio files into the Music app, overwriting existing tracks, editing metadata, and hoping it syncs properly is very time-consuming. The Files app lacks playlist support and is cumbersome as a music player.

With Echo, you simply save tracks to iCloud and they're synced everywhere with consistent artwork and metadata. Echo also includes to-do lists and task management within the music player.

Can I add multiple versions of a song?

Yes! Add as many versions, mixes, or takes as you like. Echo makes it easy to compare different versions and favorite your best ones for quick access. Each version maintains its own metadata and artwork.

Is there a subscription?

No subscriptions - Echo is a one-time purchase. Once you buy it, you own it forever with no recurring fees.

Does Echo support playlists?

Absolutely! Build playlists for your releases, practice sessions, or any workflow you like. Playlists sync across all your devices and support shuffle, loop, and other playback features.

What devices are supported?

Echo is available for iOS, iPad, and Mac. We currently have no plans for Android support.

How do I import my existing music?

You can import tracks directly through Echo's interface, or simply place your audio files in your iCloud Drive folder. Echo will automatically detect and sync them across your devices.

What audio formats does Echo support?

Echo supports all common audio formats including MP3, M4A, WAV, AIFF, and FLAC. The app will automatically read metadata and artwork from your files.

Can I use Echo offline?

Yes! Once your files are synced to your device, you can use Echo offline. New files will sync when you're back online.

How do I manage my to-do lists?

Each track in Echo can have its own to-do list. Simply tap on a track and add tasks to keep track of what needs to be done. These lists sync across all your devices.

Is my data private?

Yes! Echo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All your files are stored exclusively in your iCloud account using Apple's secure infrastructure. We have no access to your files or data.

How do I get updates?

Echo updates are delivered through the App Store. Make sure you have automatic updates enabled, or check the App Store periodically for new versions.
